SYLLABUS FOR
  1. Name of the certification: 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training Certificate Course
  2. Course level: Level 1
  3. Requirement/ Eligibility: For admission in the course it is suggested/ desired that the candidate should have passed min 10 or 10+2 standard/High School/Secondary School certificate from a recognized School/board or equivalent. However, the Yoga Institutions can define their own eligibility.
  4. Brief Role Description: Certified Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) can teach basics of Yoga / common Yoga protocol developed by the YOGA Association USA for International Day of Yoga for prevention of diseases and health promotion. They can conduct Yoga practice / Yoga classes in parks, Community, societies, Yoga Studios, Fitness Center also organize Yoga Events. workshops and seminars.
  5. Minimum age: 16+
  6. Personal Attributes: The job requires an individual to have good communication skills, time management skills and ability to understand the body language of the trainees. The job requires individual to possess key qualities such as self-discipline, confidence, maturity, patience, compassion, active listening, time management, empathetic, language proficiency.
  7. Duration of course: Not less than 200 hours or not less than 6 months part time or not less than 6 weeks or 45 days as full time course.
  8. Mark Distribution: Total Marks: 1000 (Theory: 250 + Practical: 750)
